South Plains Implement started in 1998. In the fall of 2001, South Plains Implement opened as the John Deere dealer in Seminole, Denver City, and Tornillo, TX. In 2005, partners, Scotty Johnson and Brian Snodgrass purchased two additional stores in Deming and Mesquite NM. In September 2012 South Plains Implement expanded their territory to San Angelo, Ballinger, and Big Spring, TX.
